Number 4 – Ore no Wasuremono
2007 saw the birth of many awesome anime songs, as well as some new people for all of us to idolize. The best person of 2007 though had to be Shiraishi Minoru who really stole the show of Lucky Star. Aside from starring with his cohost Akira in the aftershow Lucky channel that was part of every ep of LS, starting from episode 12 he became th ending theme, appearing in live action to sing random aweosme songs. The first being the infinitely awesome Ore no Wasuremono.
For those who don’t know, it all began when he played Tanizuki in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and had this moment, that later was made into a musical opus seen here. And when LS was over, having kicked enough ass with Shiraishi’s awesomeness, he released what I’d say is the greatest anime soundtrack ever, Shiraishi Minoru no Otoko no Lullaby. Not only does it contain the TV versions of all songs and studdio versions of others, there are certain songs that have full-lengths such as the awesome latin lounge version of Ore no Wasuremono. And then it contains the single most epc thing ever recorded, Koi no Minoru Densetsu – Kanzenban – which is what happens when Mikuru meats Minoru meets amazing power metal. A combination I’m all for.
