Shortly after finishing the last Acadime Award post I came down with a bad fever and pretty much slept through the entire next day. I didn’t have nearly enough time to finish the Best Animation (TV) post before midnight, so I’ll have to push it back. I also realized while doing Best OP that this whole thing is going to be a lot more work than I expected (it took me over 4 hours to do that post), so to account both for lost time and for time that I don’t think I’ll have in the future, I’m going to cancel some of the categories, particularly ones that I could never get a presenter for.
So, I’m for sure cancelling Best Animation Director, Best Art Director, and Best Villain. I don’t want to cancel more than that unless the situation calls for it.
Best Animation (TV) will be moved to the tenth to replace Best Animation Director.

Now that I think about it, I can’t remember a single villain from this past year. I’d probably give it to someone from Shiki, but then again, who were really the villains in that show? I’d honestly say the humans, or Megumi.

drmchsr0 had called it immediately, but when I told him to contact me about it, he never did. But like glo said above, there really weren’t a lot of good picks.
