My Hatedom of Bee Train Now Has Its Own Website

Appropriately titled I Hate Bee Train. If you like angry rants about terrible, terrible anime, this is a place to go. For those unaware of what Bee Train is, it’s the most terrible anime studio in history. Some of their worst shows include Madlax, Phantom, Avenger, and the bad segments of Halo Legends and Batman Gotham Knight, while some of their less-utterly-fucking-terrible shows include .hack//SIGN, El Cazador de la Bruja, Noir, and Murder Princess. (All of which are still bad.) I’ll be episodically blogging these shows and tearing them to shreds for sport.

So far, there’s only one post on the site (Fucking Madlax Episode 1), but if you want more rage over Bee Train, check out this post I did here a long time ago:

Halo Legends is Completely Awesome If You Ignore Bee Train Fucking It Up As Bad As Humanly Imaginable

  1. *Sniff*

I feel like I’ve been waiting for this post for so damn long.

But yeah, your rants are always fun.

  2. It’s ironic, because hack//sign is one of my alltime favourite anime while hack//roots was one of the worst anime I have ever seen (Roots had no likeable characters, of course only my opinion).

I think the reason why I like Sign so much is because Kazunori Itō did a great job on the screenplay, although I am not quite satisfied with the ending (He also wrote the screenplay for Mamoru Oshii’s Avalon, where you can see some parallels to Sign). Kōichi Mashimo as a director is a very mixed bag.

But I agree with you, a very lazy studio. But you know what, you don’t have to watch everything, especially things you don’t like ^__- Think positive ! There is already enough hate in the (net)world.

  3. I actually thought that their segment of Gotham Knight was alright, or at least better than everything else that they did before it. Hyoge Mono is pretty good too. Besides that, yeah- their shows suck ass. I still remember that one ‘fight’ scene in .hack//roots, where those two guys are standing about ten meters away from this other chick and they’re all charging towards each other for about three minutes, only for the camera to pan up, with some ambiguous sound effects and some screaming, and then the ending credits.

    • That’s fucking horrid.

The Gotham Knight clip isn’t the worst thing ever, but when you consider how great the rest of Gotham Knight is, it’s just an embarrassment (a word that would do no justice to their Halo Legends installment.)
