So, Ghostlightning and I did our first videocast on Fuzakenna TV! And it was a ton of fun, especially with the live chat going on through it. Even though whether we stayed on topic at all is debatable! It was supposed to be a war, but then it just became us fanboying, showing our tits, and I got to somewhat meet his wife. It’s worth it just to hear GL’s funny accent and my awesome fanservice. Summary: Anime is the best fanboying, Bemboo Leaf Rhapsody was great, and I’ll be making 20 Eureka Seven posts!
TO WATCH THE SHOW: Go to Fuzakenna TV, click the ON-DEMAND button, and click on WE REMEMBERED LOVE – GHOSTLIGHTNING AND DIGITALBOY

Disclaimer: I don’t do screen caps. Be glad I’m blogging episodically at all.
K-On episode 1 fully lives up to my expectations, and those expectations were pretty high, so I’m already loving this show. Which is saying a lot since I watched it raw and therefor understood the bare minimum of the dialog. However, I’ve seen more than enough anime and KyoAni shows to know how things work in a slice-of-life comedy, and thankfully KyonAni’s highly animated characters emote more than enough to tell the story with their hands. Indeed, this may be KyoAni’s most hyper-actively animated show yet, with clothes and hair ruffling all over, but it never gets to the point of retardation like Kannagi did (constantly).
At the request of someone, and my own personal interest, I behold unto you the top 10 first episodes of anime. Now, there are a few stipulations for this list. I didn’t pick any ‘introductory’ episodes (with the exception of number 10). In other words, episodes that get the story off to a start with and introduce the characters in a high-energy way that may not pervade into episode 2. That’s because while those episodes are great, I’m looking for episodes that are one of the outright best in the whole show. First episodes that may be the first thing that even comes to mind when the show is brought up. I had to rewatch several of these episodes to get the order correct, but I’m confident in my results. Lets go!
Because Oi, Hayaku has gone defunct, I will be reposting all my OH! posts here. Enjoy if you haven’t already.
How does one come to adore moe? Where does it begin? And where does it go from there?
The issue has been debated long and hard on the internet. Welcome to the NHK has it’s own theory:
But is this really true? I wanted to study one man’s obsession with moe – and what better test subject than myself?
