We’re three-fourths of the way through “100 Characters For 100 Otaku!” Originally, the series was only going to be five posts long, with each containing twenty characters! I quickly realized this was not possible when I started writing the first post in my notebook, and decided to shorten it to ten posts, but once I transferred it to the computer, I knew it would have to be twenty! Today’s quarry are numbers 30 down through 26, so let’s check ’em out!

Calling All Artists! Please Draw Me a Banner Image!

The recent fanart debate reminded me of my long-standing desire to fill my site with original artwork. However, I can’t draw worth a half of a shit. I don’t mind trying to draw some of the site’s imagery, but for my banner image, I’d like it to be done by someone with talent. So, if you have that, please help me out!

Minor Characters That Deserve Their Own Anime

This post on Low On Hit Points inspired me to do a post about my favorite minor characters. I won’t be defining it necessarily by pure screentime, as some will be more minor than others. However, these are all characters that were around, but had little focus. They might have done something really useful once or twice, but when all is said and done, they don’t get a huge place. They are characters who most people would forget all about once the show is over, but a select fanbase will never forget them.
