Okay, so here’s the panel in video in 6 parts. It’s an hour long, so be ready for some time. It takes a couple of minutes to get started and it only progressively gets better. Also the last five minutes were cut off from the tape running out, but they can basically be summarized as ‘GIANT ROBO IS AMAZING’. Anywho, lets go.

Nekocon Day 1 – Extremely Local Con Is Extremely Local
I didn’t manage to do daily blogging of either of my Otakon trips simply because I was so busy on those days that I never had the chance. For Nekocon, I’m not only less busy, but it’s close enough to my house that I am not staying in a hotel, so I can comfortably blog it from my home. Also, there’s the fact that there’s not a whole lot to say about this con!
Kamichu! – Released and Relinquished Part Five
A post in the ‘Released and Relinquished‘ series.
(In case you missed it, go see Part Four: Fighting Spirit over at The Gaming Dungeon.) For our fifth series, we have another beloved cult hit, the 2005 anime Kamichu!, which is one of the coolest slice-of-life-shows around, as well as one of the most well-animated shows of the decade. Let’s have a look!
Simoun – Released and Relinquished Part Three
A post in the ‘Released and Relinquished‘ series.
(In case you missed it, go see Part 2: GaoGaiGar over at The Gaming Dungeon) Simoun is one of the most recent anime we’ll be talking about here, having aired in 2006 in Japan and been released between November 07 and 08 here in the states by Media Blasters. In my opinion, and in the opinion of many of the people who’ve seen it, Simoun deserves to be called one of the greatest anime of our decade. Let’s check it out!
The SoulTaker – Released and Relinquished Part One
Welcome, all, to Released and Relinquished, the panel where we teach you about great shows that actually got released on DVD in America but sold so horribly that the copies still litter the shelves. We have a great variety of shows from different genres and time periods, all of which are still pretty easy to find. There’s no time to waste, so let’s get started with our first show!
Released and Relinquished Introduction – Great Shows That Dropped Stateside and Flopped Miserably
Here in South-East Virginia we have a small, local anime convention called Nekocon. I’ve never gone to it before, because I know some of the people who go there every year, and none of them are really anime fans, which made me wary. However, since last year, my good friend and fellow Virginian Patz of The Gaming Dungeon and I have considered going for the sole purpose of running a panel there. This year we went for it, and our panel has been approved.
