The Diary of an Anime Lived project began in mid-2009, and has taken off into a large series of posts spanning many different blogs. It began with the thought that life sometimes imitates art – every so often, we see something in anime that reflects our own lives and resonates with us on a personal level. Be it a situation, a character, or the entire experience of the show, sometimes it can all feel eerily familiar, and sometimes it can be very hard to talk about. Many authors have used this post series to get important things off of their chest, while others have used it to tell heartwarming or intriguing stories of their past. I strongly feel that this is my favorite blogging project to have ever undertaken, and it’s made me very happy to watch it grow and expand over time.

Pingback: Hi there. We’re Anime Diet. | Anime Diet
It’s been a really long time, hasn’t it, DigitalBoy? If in case you don’t remember (And I don’t blame you) just check the author on the Toradora article up there.
I’m sure you were probably disappointed in me for not following through with my plans to become an anime blogger a few years ago, but believe me, that never died. I just wasn’t ready for it back then–now, however, I think I am. I’ve watched much more anime than I ever imagined I would, and I’ve learned a great deal about it, as well as gaining more experience in life and in writing. So, although I’m still not sure where to go from here, I’m really going to fight to become an aniblogger this time.
I do have something that might help, though. I just finished up another article for this project, and I was hoping you’d be willing to host it, at least until I can (somehow) get a blog of mine own prepared.
Sure, I’m willing to host it! Contact me on AIM or Gtalk or something and send it over. You’ll find that I haven’t been blogging much anime myself lately, mostly video games, but there’s always room here for anime blogging by whoever wants to do ti :)
I’ll get on that, but I’ll need your email again. Don’t have it no more.

Oh hey is this project still a thing? :O Are there any requirements to participate? Or a guideline maybe?
It sounds really fun and interesting, and a neat way to maybe learn how to write better. (I have very little writing ability, but I’ve always enjoyed it in English class and typing to my internet friends…and leaving lengthy youtube comments hehe)
Yup, all you gotta do is make a post and link to this page and I’ll put it in the list as long as it’s relevant!
Ohhhh, I think I’ll join in as well.
Curiosity though, can I write about a JRPG rather than an anime?
